Finally getting back to the site, only to realize that I can't remember where I was going with it. Getting majorly sick first in 2008, and then again in 2009, has left my brain completely scattered. I no longer recall what I was going to do with the website, or why. I don't recall why the site was left barren, and why nothing was re-uploaded after the server was fixed in 2008.

So instead of trying to piece together what my plan was, 2 years ago, I've decided to simply take the things from the old versions of the site that I think should be here, and put those back up. And then I'm gonna work from there to rebuild my site, to create a more complete experience. Or what it can be called.

First up, is putting my projects list back online. Latest revision of this I was able to find says it was last updated on August 26th, 2005. I'm not sure that is actually correct, but that is what Windows says. The content just seems newer. Anyways, it is back, and for the most part updated for the new site.

On the horizon is Blogster, my blogging application that I actually never got very far with. But to make that work, I need to finally finish the login system for the main site. Those two things are my main priorities right now. There's a couple other things I want to have on the site, that was started a long time ago, but then abandoned again. Those include the CPU Database, and the Weblinks Project. I'd also like to finally get Helios online, although I think we're looking at (atleast) 2011 for that one, and for Weblinks. Those two are very big projects, and very hard to get back after having been away from them all for so long. Also, as long my test server is inaccessible (I'm hoping by the end of summer that will be resolved), the bigger projects are very hard to work on, and will take longer to code, as I need to upload them before being able to see what it looks and act like, rather than simply being able to hit Ctrl+S and F5.

Due to some privacy concerns, the family tree has been removed from the site.

Nothing new otherwise yet. Still experimenting with new content.

So over the past couple months I've been trying to get back to my website and put some effort back into it. I still have all these ideas, but not the energy to actually carry them out. Even while doing very little, my job leaves me stressed out and parched for energy. It makes it hard to get anything done once I get home.

I'm trying to pull together the energy and make an effort to change that though. Something has to change or I'll go insane. Being exhausted from work to the point where I can barely function, and then drinking tons of coke to stay awake, and then having trouble falling asleep, just don't work out for very long. And I am farely sure that it can't be very healthy either.

But anyways: I've updated the Death Knight in the WoW section with the latest info I could find on the Blizzard forums. With WotLK now having an official release date, I thought it was a good idea to actually update it finally. I realized that the headings in the WoW section look kinda horrid, so I might be working on making some nicer ones for it. And the menu could probably use some improvement as well, have an idea for a "layered paper" look, but don't really know how to do that. So maybe I'll have to experiment heh. I will be adding some links to other WoW sites at some point though.

My wife is trying to learn Danish, and it made me think about putting together some Danish pages of some sort. What about I have absolutely no clue yet. Got an idea for the look though, which I suppose can be considered progress LOL.

It's been a long while since I took my site down to try and solve some technical problems. Since then a lot of stuff has happened, and I sort of forgot about the website. Other things have taken priority, and the site just don't have the appeal for me to spend time on it anymore.

That, and the fact that I now have a job that requires me to deal with websites and computers all day long. When I get home, I just want to do something else. Life is funny that way. You turn your hobby into your job, then you find a new hobby because the old one is what puts food on the table.

I have some pretty big projects (like that is anything new) but I dunno if I'll ever get far enough with them that they'll get online. There's just not enough time in a week to get everything done.
